We value timeless photographs that last a lifetime. What better way to incorporate that principal than with photos made on film.
The nostalgic vibe, rustic grains, and saturated colors are just a few reasons why film has truly never left the photo world. Not only does your gallery come with hundreds of digital imagery, but now you can add those timeless images.

We use two different professional cameras for film:
Medium format (120 mm): Mamiya RZ67 with a 110 mm F 2.8 lense
35 mm: Canon A1
The difference between these two types of cameras is the size of the negative (35 mm vs. 120 mm).
Using both of these helps to offer two distinctive feels. More sharp, detailed images are captured on 120, fast-paced moments are best on the 35 mm.

After shooting film, we take the rolls to a film lab for developing and pick it up a week later. We then scan and edit the negatives to digitize it. They are delivered in the same gallery as your digital in a separate folder.

Different film has different feels. Kurth picks out the film based on the venue and market prices at the time. Reach out via email if you’re interested in which film he’s picking!

We offer different packages based on how much film you’d like! When you reach out for our usual wedding price guide these prices are included.
