We’re Kurth + Sarah Nelson, a husband and wife team based in South Carolina and available for travel.
We combine our experience in journalism and fine art to capture the authenticity of love and life in all its realness, while utilizing professional posing and design. The goal of each session & wedding day is to share your story while staying true to who you are as a couple.
We keep things light and fun— definitely never taking it for granted that we get to meet the coolest folks and head to beautiful places with them.

I am all things posing, color, artistic— you can find me looking for the best lighting and tweaking posing on wedding days and at events. I’m calm and ready for whatever a day may bring. My love for old-fashioned film photography has helped me better understand the camera inside and out.

Because I’m used to the journalism world, on wedding days you can find me over by the grandparents and kiddos for all the candid shots. I live for capturing reactions + raw moments. I also thrive in organization and communication so I help guide the day and do all the planning with you.
